Trends: All White Everything

There is always going to be some new fashion trend every year,very few have power to stay on for over a year or two or even turn out to be timeless. Remember when every “fashionista” wanted to blind our eyes with outrageous color combinations all in the name of color blocking. Well thank Heavens that is over.

You would agree with me when I say white is not only difficult to wear since it gets dirty easily but also a little hard to successfully style. With that being said lets face it, white makes you look bright and fresh and for my narcissist easily noticeable. For those of you who want to look trendy in all white here are some celebrity looks and shots from a look book that may inspire your all white fantasies.Minimal Dreams is the name of the spring/summer 2014 collection by Nigerian fashion label Re Bahia. Speaking of Rihanna, here she is at the Met gala looking fierce in all white. Yes I know the average person would not necessarily wear a skirt like that one (although I know some people who would) I just had to throw that in there.

Something more simple and elegant, here is our very own actress Yvonne Nelson. As I type this I begin to wonder why there are very few SUCCESSFUL Ghanaian actresses but then again that is a whole new topic for discussion.

Selita Ebanks and Rocsi Diaz both looking stunning in a similar all white tux dress. If I had to choose I would probably go for…..hmmmm my vain self would pick Rocsi just because she’s showing off what her mama gave her, but there is something about Selita’s look that seems lady like and more sophisticated.

From Kim K to Eva Longoria, to Cara Santana to Taylor Swift to Rihanna and so many other celebrity looks I came across but don’t want to waste your time, the all white ensemble that has my heart has got to be Rita Ora’s, just because she is having fun with it. It is always not that serious you know.

And of course there is something here for the fellas

You cannot talk about fashion not mention the guy who thinks he is a god, Kanye West and South African rapper AKA who cleans up soo nice. But honestly I kind of envy men sometimes, a simple white tee, white pants and sneakers and you are good to go.

Big brother Africa winner Uti showed off this look on his IG page by designer Yomi Casual. So guys if you want to spice it up, this may just be the look
