Okay so whether it is that annoying boss, roommate or even an upcoming exam, I would like to assume we have all dealt with stressful situations one way or the other. If you have never been stressed, well then congratulations on being the real life version of superman. Anyway today I give you my top three tips on dealing with stress.
1. Get Organized
Some of you or should I say some of us tend to wait till the last minute before we deal with tasks and everybody knows how that ends up. Soo how about you get a diary and no its not 1996 where you write who you shagged or what you had for dinner but write the list of things you have to do for the week and prioritize. Remember to be realistic with your goals, some things cannot be magically accomplished within a short period of time. My advice is, the most difficult ones should be done first, in that way you can have time to do other things with your life. Do not get worked up when you cannot achieve all your goals at a ago. Some wise guy once said “It takes 13 hours to build a Toyota and 6 months to build a Rolls Royce” Whether that is true or not, well I would have to get back to you on that one.
2. Do something you love
So you just lost your job, that twat says he/she doesn’t love you anymore, your parents are stressing you with marriage, you are dealing with weight issues I could go on and on but I rather not. But doing the things you love tends to take your mind off soo many unpleasant things. It could be errrrm you enrolling in a karate class 🙂 listening to music, traveling, it may not be to Tokyo or anything. Then again if you can afford it then yassssss, if not you can go on a road trip or visit your relatives in the village (that’s if they are friendly). Either way one thing I can assure you is that your mind would definitely be at ease.
3. Be Positive
Being pessimistic would get you nowhere, you would just end up sad, envious and always bitter. By any means do stay away from negative people they are just a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. Whenever you find yourself in a stressful situation just remember it is not the end of the world and I know it may be easier said than done but the guy who lost his life last night would kill to be in shoes right now. So remember positive thoughts only.
