Must Watch: Gidi Up

I must admit I hardly watch movies not to talk of webisodes just because of the buzz or its popularity, well maybe with the exception of Game of Thrones. Oh lawd the sight of that fine vanilla Kit Harington alone. Anyway let me keep my dirty thoughts to myself.

Gidi up’s storyline is very relatable, especially to the younger generation. For instance, Hands up if you are trying to pursue a career your parents do not approve of or you are trying so hard not to be a freeloader or depend on your family or you find yourself in the “its complicated/I don’t know where this is going” type of romantic relationship

Regardless of the fact that Gidi Up is made in Nigeria, it is definitely not your average Nigerian type of production and that’s what I love about it. The cast consist of what you may describe as upcoming actors/actresses besides AMVCA winner, O.C Ukeje
