Where Would You Be Without Your Mother, Celebs & Everyday People Share Their Mother’s Day Messages

To become a mother is the most selfless act any woman can do. This means your life is now dedicated to nurturing another humanbeing. On this part the continent, today the 10 of May 2015, we celebrate our ” kickass ” mothers

Thanks to her sacrifices and kind-heartedness, I am who I am today because of my fabulous mum. She taught me how to be fearless, humble, respectful and always trust in God. My bff and counselor.
I asked two of my close hittas to share their mother’s day messages

Kevin Collison aka ” snow white ” ( just kidding ) says my mother had to play the role of a dad and a mum when my father passed on. She has been inspiring, a shoulder to lean on and everything I could ever wish for. Mama I love you.

My lovely Bettina Acheampong says without her mother she would not have been the independent and strong woman she is today.
Of course some of your favourite celebs had some heartfelt Mother’s Day Messages to share via social media

"Jeannie. You see? You worry you not tall. But you have nice smile, and nice heart. Who care tall." -Mama Mai I used to hate being short. When I started television hosting I would see towering glamazons like Giuliana Rancic, (no offense, G!) on TV and think, "Ugh..they want someone statuesque to look good on TV!" Mama Mai would hear me criticizing myself, and every time she had a comeback with "Well…I agree, but instead you have this…" At first I thought, "Well, that doesn't make me feel better, Mom!" It wasn't til I was older that I realized Mom was teaching me that it's way more empowering to verbally OWN what just is, whether I like it or not, and SURRENDER it to celebrate what I've got that's great. I may not be as tall as I'd like or as funny as others, but Mama Mai's words remind me there's a hellava more to smile about. Thanks for being that guiding light Mom. #MamaMai #MothersDay Check out link in my bio for #YahooTravel story with MM ❤
