#AfricaRising – Fashion Designer’s Mimi Plange, Maxhosa by Landuma & More Showcase At Vogue’s Fashion Night Out In Milan
ITC Ethical Fashion Initiative has been doing a great job in showcasing African talent to the world, this year was no different.
Mimi Plange from Ghana, Sophie Zinga from Senegal, Maxhosa by Landuma and Sindiso Khumalo from South Africa were this year’s lucky stars to have their 2016 summer/spring collections showcased at the plush Biffi Boutique during Vogue’s Fashion Night Out and Milan Fashion Week.
In an interview with AFP, Sindiso Khumalo one of the designers said…
“I think people should buy into my stuff because it’s good, not just because it’s African. That’s how myself and all designers here would like to think of ourselves. We are designers first then we are Africans. “
