Accra Men's Fashion Launched. John Dumelo & More Named As Brand Ambassadors

Who said fashion week in Ghana was only for women? The maiden edition Accra Men’s Fashion Week is slated to take place from February 27-28 at the World Trade Centre in Accra.

The event will showcase designers not only from Ghana but Togo, Benin and Nigeria.

According to Nana Mensah, one of the organisers, the aim of the event is to draw attention to ”men’s fashion and accessories and grooming while at the same time promoting national culture.”

It looks like ‘they’ even have the government on board, Mrs Dzifa Gomashie, Deputy Minister For Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts revealed at media launch that..

“The Ministry is ever ready to support the youth who are willing to come up with such brilliant ideas to strengthen and promote Ghanaian culture and heritage.”

Ghanaian actor John Dumelo , music artiste Nana Boro and Adams Abasigo, Winner of Mr. Model Ghana 2015 were unveiled as brand ambassadors
