While a white actor plays the role of Michael Jackson, award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o was recently asked on how she felt about the 2016 Oscar’s controversy during an interview on the Today Show
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress said
“It’s a symptom of something else, What we are asking for is really for more stories to be told. For inclusion in the stories that are told. I think that it’s good for all of us when we hear a diverse number of stories and are able to experience more diversity. It’s more reflective of the world we live in.”
And we couldn’t agree more, the Kenyan beauty who also stars in latest Broadway production Eclipsed also dished on her current gig and more.
