The African film industry is becoming bigger and bigger each minute. The Black Star International Film Festival has been launched in Accra, Ghana.
The platform aims to help bridge the gap between the local and international film industry with a focus on the business of film. The event is scheduled to take place on the 1st of August, 2016
Ghanaian filmmaker Juliet Asante wears the Executive Director hat, Femi Odugbemi , a Nigerian writer and producer of shows such as Tinsel on DSTV is the Co-founder and Executive Director of this initiative.
