Celebrity Stylist Kanayo Ebi Announces Showroom Launch & Signs Two UK Designers

Nigerian-American fashion stylist to the stars, Kanayo Ebi confirms the launch of her very first showroom – Kach Me If You Can, in the thriving arts community of Long Island City, New York.

The showroom, designed by the New York based stylist herself, aims to bridge the gap between new and emerging designers with those and the industry interested in authentic and contemporary ground breaking fashion forward designs through the use of PR, branding and styling.

Blown away by two exceptional UK based designers whilst on her recent trip to London, Innocente Messy (self titled), a London College of Fashion graduate, whose collection is inspired by the1960’s MOD Subculture with accents and influences from Africa; and the outstanding cutting edge vintage enthused designer Raaah by Rahima Mohamed known for her bold and timeless creations – a collection of ready-to-wear pieces to haute couture caught her eye and were immediately signed to the showroom.

Kanayo, also known as the ‘Fashion Finder’, has broken through many emerging designers whose pieces have been worn by the likes of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. With styling credits from a wide range of celebrities including Oscar award winning actress Kate Winslet, rapper J Cole and TV personalities Angela and Vanessa Simmons, the showroom’s CEO said:

“There is this unexplained yet unapologetic thrill I get in discovering and finding new brands and being a part of its development from something good and watching it turn into something great. By creating this platform for many great and deserving designers, who have gone unrecognized, will allow the industry to finally see their talent and embrace them with open arms and onto the centre stage

The Kach Me If You Can showroom will feature a collection of one of a kind designers from different parts of the globe, exhibiting an array of fashion conscious trends from classic ready-to-wear attire to avant-garde pieces including footwear, jewellery and accessories.
