Well Nigeria’s DJ Obi has officially put our beautiful continent on the map.
Last night he broke the 200 hour record set by Norbert Selmaj back in 2014 in Dublin, Ireland as the world’s longest running DJ set. Inspiring right?

DJ Obi begun his quest for greatness at 11:30 pm on Wednesday night (29th June) at the Sao Cafè in Lagos. Guess what?
Well he is not done writing his name in the history books, even though he has broken the world record, he still plans on earning the title as the guy who DJ’ed for 240 hours. Do you think he can do it?
If you do not know who DJ Obi is, here are 5 interesting facts for you.
1. His government name is Obinna Levi Ajuonuma Junior
2. He is signed to Synk8 records and he is the official DJ for Nigerian music star Lynxxx
3. Back in 2011 he bagged the award for Best DJ at the Nigerian Entertainment Award.
4. He has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from the Worcester State College in America
5. This year he signed an endorsement deal with a Swiss Watch brand named TAG Heuer
