American-Nigerian fashion stylist to the stars, Kanayo Ebi has expanded her New York based showroom this week, signing Los Angeles accessories designer Elizabeth Laine.
The Kach Me If You Can showroom welcomes its very first accessories designer to the roster, which also includes New York based designer Ezie and UK designers Ife’s Closet, Innocente Messy and RAAAH/Rahima Mohamed Couture.
The luxury handbag designer plus LA’s local community advocate’s self-titled line features a collection of vibrant colour blocking accessories from oversized clutches and shoulders bag to chic bijou belt bags and wristlets, inspired by geometric artwork and shapes.
The showroom, situated in the thriving arts community of Long Island City, aims to bridge the gap between emerging designers and the fashion industry on the look out for authentic and contemporary ground breaking designs through the use of PR, branding and styling.
Kanayo Ebi, the showroom’s CEO, whose styling work ranges from Oscar award winning actress Kate Winslet to rapper J Cole and TV personalities Angela and Vanessa Simmons, said:
