We hear of people quitting their jobs in the corporate world and opting for something in the creative space all the time but Esther Ihezie, creative director of the fashion brand Ezie says…
Transitioning from medicine to fashion has been an covetous dream of mine.”
”I loved saving lives but I also had this burning unapologetic desire to make women feel good about themselves and what they put on. There’s an emotive and physical therapy to fashion that I love and I’m thrilled that now I have the chance to do both,”
The Nigerian/American designer and ER physician has launched her debut collection dubbed ‘The Essentials by Ezie.’
The collection features five stylish pieces which is not only a perfect staple for every lady’s closet but was also inspired by the vintage 1960’s iconic Jackie Kennedy era.
The collection is now housed by Nigerian-American celebrity fashion stylist Kanayo Ebi at her New York based Kach Me If You Can showroom.
