From Africa to world! Cassper Nyovest is currently in America and he recently stopped by popular New York radio show The Breakfast Club. Now sometime last year, Cassper Nyovest had a little social media rant when he was accused of stealing Kanye West’s floating stage concept. Things even got worse when American radio host Charlamagne, referred to him as ‘some artist from Africa’ during an on-air discussion about the topic (click here to catch up). Charlagme apologize for his error and offered him an open invitation to The Breakfast Club.
Fast forward to 2017 and the South African star is out in the US showing off his long resume. Cassper talked about the African hip-hop scene, being the first artist to come up with the floating stage concept, bringing his side women to his home when he was still in a relationship with media personality Boity Thulo and more.
On sleeping with his side women on the same bed he shared with Boity
” She didn’t know, she actually heard on the song (I Wasn’t Ready)…… I didn’t have anywhere else to go, my house was very comfortable and I felt like I wanted to enjoy my house.
When the album (Thuto) came out…she was like ‘I never knew you were cheating on me’ and I was like ‘I had to exaggerate a bit on the song’…. she was a good girl, probably somebody I would have married, If I was ready at the point, I just wasn’t ready. I feel like I did what I had to do at the point, if I didn’t go through that and if I didn’t have fun I still would have been wildin out
On Kanye West stealing the floating stage concept.
”I don’t know if he stole it but he did it after me.”
Cassper Nyovest also revealed that during his Fill Up The Dome concert, Kanye West’s manager was in SA and he and his team was trying to get him (Kanye’s manager) there and a year later, he found out that Kanye had the same floating stage at his shows.
