It is that time for a new Miss Universe and 22-year old Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters from South Africa has been crowned Miss Universe 2017. Demi who has a degree in business management from the North-West University beat over 90 women to scoop the coveted title.
You know what that means right? Miss Universe 2018 will be coming to the motherland! Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters was not the only African beauty who made the motherland proud last night, Ruth Quashie from Ghana also managed to scoop a spot on the top 16 finalist.
