It is official, Prince Harry is going to have fabulous Black in-laws. The Prince and actress Meghan Markle are set to marry in the Spring of 2018. Besides the interesting mix of cultures, the 36-year-old Suits star will apparently become the first bi-racial person in history to marry a British Royal since her father is Caucasian and her mother is African-American.
It is reported that the ceremony is likely to be conducted by Justin Welby, the archbishop of Canterbury. The couple made their first public appearance after the announcement on Monday afternoon (Nov. 27, 2017) at the Kensington Palace.
In a statement, Prince William and Kate, disclosed:
“We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.”
Word on the street is that, Meghan Markle met the 33-year-old Prince in July 2016 in London through a mutual friend. Apparently, Markle’s close friend, Markus Anderson, reportedly introduced her to Prince Harry.
