Ebony’s final funeral rites has been rescheduled to March 24. Ebony, aka Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng who died in a motor accident alongside her friend Franky Kuri and their bodyguard Lance Corporal Francis Atsu Vondee was initially scheduled to be laid to rest on March 17.
The family of the deceased has moved the funeral from the Independence Square to the forecourt of the State House. There will be no-wake keeping but according to Ebony’s management, a memorial concert will be held on March 23
The President of MUSIGA, Mr Bice Osei Kuffour popularly known as Obour also reported that the body of the late songstress will be laid in state at the forecourt of the State House from 5am to 9am GMT on Saturday, March 24. This will be followed by a funeral service from 9 am to 11 am GMT, then the burial at the Osu Cemetery.
On Sunday, there will be an Interdenominational Church Service at the forecourt of the State House from 8 am to 10 am GMT which will be officiated by Rev Dr Lawrence Tetteh.
The dress code is black and red or the approved Funeral Cloth.
