What Went Down At The Kach It Project Mini-Series in London

Pop Up Africa and The Kach Me If You Can Showroom kicked off its first pop up shop mini series over the weekend in London at Africa at Spitalfields’ fifth anniversary event. Teaming up with London’s biggest African pop up shop event, The Kach It Project Lounge took the centre stage amongst market traders in East London’s iconic Spitalfields market.
The one day shopping experience featured a collective of fashion ready to wear clothing, accessories, footwear and interior design.
Participating brands included: 10 Bows Boutique, Alero Jasmine, Gold Tribe, I.Kollection, Kilubukila, Kiki Kamanu, Lolli O Creations, Prelim and Taje.
The Kach It Project Lounge designed and curated by Artisan Savant and sponsored by Nando’s also featured a live discussion and book signing with WAG turned fitness guru Amara Kanu on body confidence and US celebrity stylist Kanayo Ebi on the growth of African fashion. Also in attendance was Casualty actor Charles Venn, Hollyoaks actress Rachel Adedeji and Afrobeat singer Di’Ja.

The ‘Africa at Spitalfields’ programme also included various African food, art, interior design, accessories, jewellery and fashion traders; in addition to live entertainment with Colourful Radio showcasing different genres of African dance, live music, poetry and storytelling bringing together people from all walks of the community.
