Back in September 2017, the Saudi Arabian government announced that the country will begin to allow women to drive. Even though this is a positive initiative, four Saudi women’s rights activists who have campaigned for the right to drive are under arrest and possibly facing trial.

On Monday, the 10 women who already have international licences in other countries including the U.K, Lebanon, and Canada took a short driving test before receiving their licence.
