Kanye West & Virgil Abloh Get Very Emotional At Paris Fashion Week

Who says men don’t cry? Bring in the tissues because Kanye West and Virgil Abloh are giving us something to shed a fear for. Louis Vuitton recently showcased their spring/summer 2019 collection at the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. This is the first collection by Virgil Abloh since he was announced as the first black artistic director for the french fashion house back in March.
After the models walked on the runway during the Louis Vuitton show, the Ghanaian-American fashion icon appeared and made his way to his longtime creative collaborator Kanye West. The duo shared a very emotional hug. Shout out to artist Takashi Murakami for capturing the heartfelt moment up close.

Virgil Abloh’s relationship with Kanye West go as far back as 2009 when they both interned at Fendi. A year later, West appointed Abloh as the creative director of his creative agency, DONDA. In 2011, Kanye West asked Virgil Abloh to serve as the artistic director for the Watch the Throne album by Jay Z and Kanye West.
