Rapper J Hus Arrested For Knife Possession
J Hus has been arrested and charged with carrying a knife. The 23-year-old UK rapper will probably have kiss goodbye to his sweet gigs this summer including the likes of Wireless Festival which is scheduled to take place on 7 July.
J Hus, whose real name is Momodou Jallow was arrested on 21 June, after being stopped in a vehicle by a marked police car near Westfield shopping center in Stratford, East London.
According to Police… ”The occupants of the vehicle were searched and a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a knife/bladed article.”
Apparently, the British-Gambian Mobo award winner was denied bail at Thames magistrates court on Friday and will remain in custody until his trial on 20 July. With the increase in knife crime in the UK, doubt if his trial will be anything but easy.
In September 2015, J Hus beat death when he was severely wounded after being stabbed 5 times.
