Sjava Beats Kwesi Arthur, Niniola & More To Win BET Award
Sjava is now a BET award winner! The South African artiste who recently featured on Kendrick Lamar’s Black Panther soundtrack walked away with the ‘Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act‘ award at the 2018 Bet Awards held on Sunday June 24, in Los Angeles, California.
Sjava beat Ghana’s Kwesi Arthur, Niniola from Nigeria, Not3s from the UK, Iam DDB also from the UK, MC Soffia from Brazil, Take a Mic from France, Prince Waly also from France, Sik-K from South Korea and finally Nailah Blackman from Trindad and Tobago
The Mzansi star made sure he represented his roots, Sjava rocked an interesting Zulu inspired ensemble to the BET’s. Watch his acceptance speech below:
