Actor Mac Jordan Amartey is Dead
Mac Jordan Amartey has died at the age of 82. The veteran Ghanaian actor, who has been ill for some time now passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra on Thursday evening.
In 2016, the deceased who had his right leg amputated talked candidly about his ill health in an interview, he said:
”A lot of people think I’m dead…currently I don’t love to be part of films. I didn’t want people to see me. Hundreds of people (including) the media came to see me, I didn’t want to see them I was extremely sad”
Mac Jordan Amartey has starred in quite a number of Ghanaian movies and TV series such as Idikoko, Rejected, Dirty Tears among a host of others.
