John Legend
The 2018 Emmy nominations has been released and John Legend may have something to brag about very soon. The singer who recently decided to show off his acting skills has been nominated for an Emmy for Best Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.

If he wins this award, John Legend will join the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Mel Brooks and Rita Moreno to win an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony award.
John Legend is up against; Antonio Banderas (Genius), Benedict Cumberbatch (Patrick Melrose), Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), Jeff Daniels (The Looming Tower) and Jesse Plemons, (U.S.S. Callister – Black Mirror).
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards is scheduled to take place on September 17, hopefully John Legend will make history.
