Model Slick Woods Reportedly Goes Into Labor at Rihanna’s Fashion Show
Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show went down on Wednesday night with a bang. Besides all the showstopping moments on the runway, 22-year-old model, Slick Woods, had an unexpected visitor backstage.
According to TMZ, Woods who was heavily pregnant went into labor just as she walked backstage from the runway. Paramedics reportedly showed up to assist the model. She was then taken to the nearest hospital.
Slick Woods, real name Simone Thompson recently covered Elle UK where she got candid about becoming a mother. She disclosed:
“If you’ve never had hope for the future, you have to. You can create life; whatever you want that life to be. The more kids you have paying it forward, the more new ideas there will be. You have to get your army ready.”
Slick Woods and her partner Adonis Bosso (who is also a model) will apparently name their baby boy Saphir.
