No Money For Layla Lace! Drake Sues The IG Model For False Pregnancy & Rape Claims
This is a classic case of a one night stand gone wrong. Drake has reportedly filed a lawsuit against an Instagram model and stripper named Layla Lace. Layla accused Drake of raping and impregnating her and even tried to extort millions of dollars from him. Drake’s charges against Layla include: civil extortion, emotional distress, defamation, abuse of process and fraud.
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Drake claims he met Layla Lace back in February 2017, during his Boy Meets World Tour in Manchester. Drake says they had consensual sex in his hotel room after his show. He also claims that Layla freaked out when he asked her to leave instead of inviting her on tour with him.
In April 2017, Layla took to social media to reveal how the rapper got her pregnant and was avoiding her calls. In an Instagram post, the model shared:
”So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you [are] pregnant they stop answering [their] phone!!! One lesson I have learned out of this whole situation is to never be so naive when a guy [disrespects] you”
Layla even went on SiriusXM’s Shade 45 radio show to announce that she was preggers with Champagne Papi’s baby. The model also hired a lawyer in May 2017 and proceeded to demand money from Drake and also threatened him with defamation because of a TMZ story that said Drake never met her.
When that didn’t work, Layla Lace went to the authorities in New York and told them that Drake had raped her.

Drake’s lawsuit claims Layla and her lawyer went silent after Layla refused to take a paternity test. Drake said, “There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall.”
