Watch Will Smith Bungee Jump From A Helicopter For His 50th Birthday

Turning 50 is a big deal right? Most people throw a party, give back to charity or even go on a trip. Will Smith on the other hand decided not to take the basic route. The Hollywood superstar celebrated the milestone by bungee jumping from a helicopter over the Grand Canyon. How cool is that?

Will Smith’s bungee jumping experience was live-streamed on YouTube. According Smith, the decision to jump above the Grand Canyon was because he wanted to confront his fears

During a family trip in 1976, the actor revealed he was the only one in his family who was very scared to walk up to the edge of the canyon. He said “I was scared to take in the beauty.”

Fast forward to September 2018 and the now icon has returned to the Grand Canyon to do his helicopter bungee jump. Will Smith’s family and also Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star; Alfonso Ribeiro were there to cheer him on.
