23-year-old Nana Ama Benson has been crowned Miss Ghana 2018. The Central Region representative and graduate of the University Ghana Nursing School, drove away with a brand-new Mahindra KUV 100 official car and also the opportunity to represent Ghana at Miss World 2019. Hopefully this time around there will be no controversy.
Ten lovely ladies from all 10 regions of Ghana competed on Saturday night at the Marriott Hotel in Accra with the hopes of bagging the coveted title.
The first runner-up was Laila Issaka, a 24-year -old Accounting graduate of Koforidua Technical University and Elizabeth Mary Maclean, a 22-year-old graduate of Accra Polytechnic came in third.
Benson, the first and second runner-up will receive a monthly allowance for a year. The trio will also be entitled to 1 year of volunteering with Exclusive Events Ghana or the Miss Ghana Foundation.
