The ceremony took place at the Palace of Asuomhene Osabarima Ofosuhene Apenteng II on Saturday.

Nkosuohemaa, meaning “Development Queen” is an honorary title bestowed on people who have been selfless and shown commitment to the development of their community.

During her inaugural speech, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful promised to facilitate the construction of a vocational institute in the area (an initiative of Akyem Asuom’s Queen-mother), fix the deplorable roads and also urged all natives of the area to join forces to upgrade the community.
