Sarkodie & Shatta Wale

Looks like a truce between Shatta Wale and Sarkodie will not be happening anytime soon. Shatta Wale launched his fourth studio album dubbed Reign, on Saturday night at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra. Besides his lovely proposal to his longtime girlfriend and baby mama, Shatta Michy, the Ghanaian dancehall artiste had time for a few clap backs during and after the concert.

The first was when he responded to a line from Sarkodie’s diss song Advice which implied that Shatta Wale should stop wearing aluminium chains and buy the real deal. During his concert, Shatta Wale disclosed that he never wears aluminium chains and that could someone who wears fake chains command the type of crowd he has at the Reign concert.

The next clap back was after the concert. Shatta Wale who was interviewed by Becky of Joy News revealed that Sarkodie is putting envy and jealousy into the game. He said:

“I didn’t want to talk about this but Sarkodie has done something and that is the storm that is coming….Any artiste that tries Shatta Wale is going to go down…. Anybody that comes close to my work will go down. When I mean down, I mean down the drain.”

Do you think Shatta Wale went too far with his threats?
