South African Rap Icon, HHP Dies At 38

Now this so sad! Jabulani Tsambo better known in showbiz as HHP (Hip Hop Pantsula) or Jabba has died. Lerato Sengadi, partner of the 38-year-old deceased South African rapper confirmed the news to TshisaLIVE (an online publication).
The cause of death is not known. However, word on the street is that, it was due to depression. The rapper was very candid about his struggles with depression in a couple of past interviews. In a 2017 interview with Gareth Cliff on Cliff Central, HHP revealed that he tried to commit suicide three times.
News of HHP’s death comes as a big surprise to many fans. Jabba released his EP, Feels Good To Be Back just a couple of weeks ago.
Fans, fellow African rappers and celebs have poured out their tributes on social media.

Life is fleeting. Live it well whenever you can. Leave those around you ever better. Talk when you are going through stuff. Do not judge.

People reach out to you, they tell you they’re depressed and you act fresh with them nd and act like you cared when they are gone.
Check on your depressed friends/family, don’t give up on them no matter what. #RIPHHP
