Kofi Annan Honoured With His Own Portrait Stamp By The UN

One thing is for sure, Kofi Annan was an inspiration to many Africans/black peeps around the world.
The late United Nations Secretary-General has been honoured with his portrait on a new stamp by the UN.
The stamp was illustrated by a famous artist and engraver named, Martin Mörck from Norway. The stamp sheet and first day cover were designed by Rorie Katz of UNPA.
From his speeches to his interviews, Kofi Annan gave us many pearls of wisdom. One of such gems is featured on the stamp. The stamp shares a quote by the late UN Secretary General, which reads:
“To live is to choose. But to choose well, you must know who you are and what you stand for, where you want to go and why you want to get there.”
