Sho Madjozi has just won a BET Award. The South African singer made the motherland proud when she scooped the 2019 BET Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act Award.
The singer beat UK/Ghana’s Headie One, Teni from Nigeria, Jokair and Nesly from France and Octavian from the UK.
Even with all the excitement, the Mzansi star made sure she dropped an inspirational speech. “My story is a testament that you can be from any village or any forgotten part of the world and still be a superstar…You don’t have to change who you are” – Sho Madjozi shared.
