The track list for Beyonce’s ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album is out and the motherland is going gaga!

The latest edition of the film, Lion King, is set to hit cinemas on July 19 the same day as the album inspired by the movie. ‘Lion King: The Gift’ album has got quite a number of African giants featured on the LP. 

In an exclusive interview with ABC News, Beyonce revealed she wanted nothing but the best from Africa. She said:

“This soundtrack is a love letter to Africa and I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa, and not just use some of the sounds and did my interpretation of it….I wanted it to be authentic to what is beautiful about the music in Africa.”

Ghanaian producer, Guilty Beatz was not left out on all the action. He bagged producer credits for three (3) songs on the album.
