Gloria Sarfo Becomes The Only Ghanaian Actor Nominated For The 2020 #AMVCAs. Peep the Full List

The nominees for the 2020 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) have been announced! Have you seen the list yet? If you haven’t, well let me fill you in. It looks like Gloria Sarfo is the only Ghanaian actor to bag an AMVCA nomination this year.

Gloria stars in ‘The Perfect Picture: 10 Years Later’ and has been nominated for “Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/TV Series.” Gloria is going head-to-head with Toni Tones who stars in the film, ‘King of Boys’, Eucharia Anunobi ‘The Foreigner’s God’, Tina Mba ‘The Set Up’ and Mary Lazarus ‘Size 12’.

All hope is not lost for Ghana though, besides Gloria Sarfo, Ghanaian producer, Irene Dumevi who is also a graduate of the Multi Choice Talent Factory Film Academy also recieved an AMVCA recognition in the MultiChoice Talent Factory category for her film ‘Life of Bim’
