Mo Abudu Signs a Partnership Deal with Netflix

Mo Abudu is constantly making a massive impact in the African creative scene. The Ebonylife boss lady has partnered with American streaming service, Netflix, to create two original series as well as multiple Netflix-branded films.
This new partnership, makes Ebonylife the first African production company to sign multiple deals with Netflix.

“Death and the King’s Horseman” a play written by the legendary Wole Soyinka and also “The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives” a series based on Lola Shoneyin’s novel are two projects that will be created by Ebonylife exclusively for Netflix.
Speaking on the new partnership, Dorothy Ghettuba, Netflix’s head of African Originals said:
“Mo is at the forefront of creative storytelling in African television, Her passion for creating high-quality, riveting multi-genre films and TV shows that capture the imagination while showcasing the diversity and richness of Nigerian culture is evident in her impressive body of work.”
