Ghana’s Minister of Health Recovering From Coronavirus

Kwaku Agyemang Manu, the Minister of Health in Ghana is currently on treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Center after testing positive for coronavirus.
The Minister was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and is reported to be “in a stable condition.”
In a Joy News report, sources reveal that the 64-year-old Dormaa Central MP had tested positive for some time but was only brought to the hospital this week.
The Health Minister had apparently taken a few days off from work and had not reported to work all week.

As at Friday 12 June 2020, Ghana had recorded 262 new Covid-19 cases making the total number of cases: 11,118. Fifty-eight (58) more persons are said to have recovered making the tally, 3,979 recoveries. Death stands at 48.
