Get Ready To Watch ‘The Perfect Picture – 10 Years Later’ & Other African Content On Netflix!

Netflix may have given us their very own original African series such as Queen Sono and Blood and Water but it looks like there is more to come.

A host of African films have been scheduled to stream on the international streaming platform.

‘The Perfect Picture – 10 Years Later’ by Ghanaian filmmaker, Shirley Frimpong-Manso will be available on Netflix next month.

The film which is a sequel to ‘The Perfect Picture,’ stars both Ghanaian and Nigerian cast including the likes of Naa Ashorkor Mensah-Doku, Adjetey Anang, Chris Attoh, Gloria Sarfo, Jackie Appiah, Lydia Forson, Joselyn Dumas, John Dumelo, Kwaku Sintim-Misa, RMD, Gideon Okeke, Beverly Naya among a host of others.

The movie follows the lives of three women in their forties. It’s a roller coaster ride of imperfect husbands, repentant ex-boyfriends and daring romantic exploits.

Skin, a documentary by Nigerian actress and producer, Beverly Naya will also make it’s Netflix debut. The documentary which won an AMVCA this year explores the meaning of beauty in all the different shades of black.

The Mirror Boy, Elevator Baby, Last Flight to Abuja, 4th Republic among a host of other African films have also been scheduled to debut on Netflix.
