Sir John Passes Away + Mac Manu & Carlos Ahenkorah test positive for Coronavirus

Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry, Carlos Ahenkorah and Peter Mac Manu, the campaign manager for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) have reportedly tested positive for Covid-19

According to Citi News, they both have been admitted at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

This disturbing report comes shortly after the news of the death of the former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John. The NPP General Secretary passed away on July 1, 2020, after allegedly testing positive for Coronavirus.

According to MyJoyOnline, Sir John succumbed to complications of the disease while undergoing treatment at the ICU of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Update: Hon. Carlos Ahenkorah has come to reveal that indeed he has tested positive for Covid-19 but was never in Intensive Care.
