Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Presidency has filed his nomination to contest in the Awutu Senya West parliamentary election in the Central Region. The parliamentary aspirant submitted his documents to the New Patriotic Party’s constituency office on Monday, September 9.

During a short speech to his supporters and party executives after filing his nomination, Eugene Arhin expressed his commitment to serving the people of Awutu Senya West. The NPP parliamentary hopeful empathized his intention to focus on development projects, education, and improving infrastructure within the constituency.

He also shared his vision is to uplift the standard of living of the people through effective leadership and collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the region.

Eugene Arhin will be facing off with the opposition NDC’s Gizella Tetteh Agbotui. An interesting fun fact is that, since 2000 no incumbent Member of Parliament has been able to retain their seat in consecutive elections. Will Eugene Arhin continue with that trend or will history be made?
