Grace Omaboe, popularly known as Maame Dokono has turned 80. The Ghanaian veteran actress and media personality who clocked 8 decades in June 2024, celebrated her 80th birthday and book launch on Saturday September 7. Maame Dokono first stole the hearts of many Ghanaians during her acting days in the Akan Drama Series “OBRA”
The star-studded event which was held at The Underbridge Event Centre at East Legon in Accra, had the likes of Nana Ama McBrown, Adwoa Smart, David Dontoh, Fred Amugi, Abeiku Santana, Christine Doe Tetteh, Prophet Kofi Oduro in attendance.
Grace Omaboe debuted her memoir, titled ‘Unforgettable ”Maame Dokono.” Media personality, Abeiku Santana lead an auction of the first 30 copies of the memoir.
