Six elephants reportedly escaped from Kruger National Park in South Africa. In a viral video, a helicopter was seen attempting to hunt down the elephants. The elephants escaped on Wednesday 4 September, and were headed to the Mkhuhlu area.

The six (6) elephants have since returned to the Mzansi National Park.
“We have been duly informed by our Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) colleagues that the animals were noticed making their way to the park last night,” SANParks spokesperson Ike Phaahla told The Citizen.
